Thursday is a BIG day for me. I will be seeing my beloved New York Yankees play the dreaded Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium. I cannot even express how much i love the Yankees, or how long i've waited to see them play each other at Yankee Stadium. But it might rain, and my dreams might be crushed. So everyone needs to put in a good word to whoever they pray to for it not to rain on thursday so that my dreams can come true! kthanxbye!

So. It's official. I'm going to PENN STATE!!!! Deposit and housing forms will be mailed tomorrow.

I...half?...got into University of Maryland...they offered me admission for the spring semester because there isnt enough space (they didnt like me enough to make room for me) for the fall semester. So i would...take time off or take community college courses or something for a semester and then join the rest in Maryland in January...which does not sound good to me. at all. I dont want to come in late when everyone has already made friends and have already figured everything out. I want to be in college, on a campus, living in a dorm at the same time everyone else does. So. Fuck Maryland. I <3 Penn State. Its good this happened, because I LOVE penn state...and if maryland had accepted me all the way, i would have had to make a tricky decision. This way, everything is pie.

Amelia Louise Rieth: The Pennsylvania State Universtiy, University Park Campus, College of Education class of 2010!!!!!

Hooray for having a future!

so. in true amelia fashion, i got my parents pissed at me last night. Told them I was sleeping at molly's, when in truth, i crashed at jesse's. Shouldnt have been a problem, but because my parents are out of their minds it was. My dad drove to molly's house to see if my car was there because he was "worried about me driving in the fog" aka, he was being mad shady and trying to check up on me. Needless to say, the car was not where I said it would be. He called me when i was drunk as balls to inquire about my car, and i insisted it was at molly's in the driveway...so you know...got tangled up lies. So i got home in the morning and they were upset because i was lying....whatever. I blame it on friday the 13th. But I'm not in any trouble....just a little awkward for a bit. I decided not to go out tonight so they'll love me again.

Anyhoo. Great time at Jesse's. Also, thank god it's a three day weekend.
